Final Reflection on the Project

Looking back on the whole project I feel that working through the process was a good experience. From the beginning planning, writing the script, to filming to the final editing of the CCRs I learned about how much effort goes into making like even a short film opening. At every stage of the project there was planning and teamwork involved to make sure that each part of the project ended up fitting together as part of the final product.


An important part of my experience was gaining knowledge of the technical aspects of film production, how to use a Canon camera, as well as recording devices to get the best footage as possible. In addition, I learned that various editing techniques including sound syncing and color grading would impact the pace and emotional tone of a scene.


I am very content with how the project turned out. There were many stages of production like pre production, Production, post production, and making the CCRs that will allow me to better understand how to produce a film and how certain creative decisions will affect the final outcome.
