CCR #3: How did your production skills develop through this project?

My production skills developed a lot while working on this project including filming, shot planning and use of editing software. When we first began this project, my shot planning skills wasn't the best and I didn't really have any experience thinking about how each angle of a shot might affect the outcome of a scene. I found while filming that shot composition and camera placement was really important to make a scene look more professional.


What I learned the most, is how to prepare before you shoot a scene properly. By thinking of what the shots are going to be. I also learned how important the places you shoot at matter when filming. For example, all the scenes we shot were at places I scouted before filming to make sure that the footage would look good.


Since I didn't finish my presentation for the CCR, I didn't developed my script yet. After I finish my presentation, I will build a script to go with the slides. This will help to make sure that what I say matches the points in the presentation.
