CCR #4: How did you integrate technology – software, hardware and online, in this project?
While producing the project, we made use of technology. We used snapchat and WhatsApp to communicate between our group. For editing we used Premier Pro. As for our equipment we used a canon camera and microphones.
Like I said before, I am certified on Premier Pro, so it just made sense to use it. Since I have a lot of experience with the program, there wasn't too much trouble when editing. This is one of my first messing with color grading.
Our equipment definitely helped us a lot to get that crisp look at our project. The camera helped us get better quality in our shots. As for the microphone, it helped us get that incredibly good sound quality for the car sounds, the car sounds play a significant role in the film. Getting that sound of the cars right is so important because you don't first see a modified car, you hear it far away screaming at that high RPM and then you see it.
